3i Africa Summit Ghana

Euro Exim Bank was proud to be a key exhibitor, and panelist at the recent 3i Africa Summit held on May 13-15 in  Accra, Ghana.  

The event was titled ‘ Unleashing Africa’s FinTech and Digital Economic Potential, with attendance by H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President – Republic of Ghana, Regional Regional Heads of State, Government officials, Central Banks, international and domestic financial institutions, thought leaders,  academics and fintech companies, the conference was the largest gathering in the region with more than 7000 attendees over the 3 days event. 

The 3i Africa Summit addressed the key opportunities, explored how markets and companies are leapfrogging legacy technologies and identified key partners discussing policy, finance, and technology – with inclusion and sustainability at its heart..

Speaking on the Plenary panel discussion entitled “Investing in Africa: Understanding the Barriers and Opportunities”, EEB Head of Compliance and Operations, Dr Graham Bright, spoke of the challenges and opportunities afforded to the SMEs across the region driving economic growth and the opportunities to work with specialist institutions to procure economic solutions to facilitate global trade.

Following the success of the event and exhibition, EEB is also scheduled to attend the Inclusive Fintech Forum in Kigali, Rwanda from 26-27  August, where the focus on East Africa is expected to attract over 4000 delegates.
